How to use Version history feature in the SharePoint library.

Version history is one of the useful features of SharePoint Document Management. When enabled it creates a separate copy of the document each time it was edited or modified. This helps to protect the data inside your libraries and also when using versioning you can add comments to different versions of the document to identify each stage of work and make collaboration in your team more effective and productive. Note that before turning on document versioning you need to consider how documents are processed in your organization and if they are double-checked before uploading to SharePoint there may be no need to create document versions. It is important because each document version takes extra space at your SharePoint site. Learning about document versioning options and practicing using this feature is strongly recommended for your team.
