Document IDs in SharePoint 2013.

SharePoint 2013 just like SharePoint 2010 includes Document IDs feature. This useful feature allows to create a reference to a document, which will be valid even in case the file is moved to another folder. By activating Document ID feature, each file in the site collection receives a unique ID, which is stored in a hidden column. You can display this column if necessary.
